World-class research

At the Centre of Materials Science, we investigate and provide real-world solution to enhance existing materials at nanoscale to full-scale level. We design, manufacture, test and model 2D and 3D materials with enhanced performance that have applications in electronics, energy, environmental, building and sensing technologies. Using state-of-the-art testing and analytical techniques, we manipulate matter down to the atom-by-atom scale, opening a new world of possibilities to improve existing materials at the crossover of physics, chemistry and engineering.
