Unlocking the learning potential of incarcerated Indigenous and low SES young people
This project aims to develop new knowledge concerning the mathematics learning potential of incarcerated Indigenous young people in order to construct theory that explains the efficacy of mathematics instruction in terms of engagement and learning that builds on these young people’s knowledge and capacity to make connections and transfers this knowledge to other mathematical areas.
