The Makerspace Priority led by Dr Andy Yeh, is a constructionist movement that promotes learning by making personally meaningful artefacts with the use of digital fabrication tools, computers programming, microcontrollers, as well as traditional hand tools and materials. Our group focuses on the construct of makerspace learning environments (MLE) as the vehicle for transdisciplinary STEM education, and investigates how the maker culture can be forged in MLE to enable creative and innovative learning in STEM.
