This project evaluated how Social Robotics Clubs can support students, particularly those on the autism spectrum, in building social networks in mainstream schools. In collaboration with teachers at Brisbane Catholic Education and researchers at Queensland University of Technology, the research study demonstrated that inclusive robotics activities with peers increased social connections, teamwork skills and academic engagement for students on the autism spectrum.
