In this trans-disciplinary project between the Faculty of Health and Faculty of Education we are collaborating to develop online teaching resources to integrate the medical radiation sciences into the senior physics curriculum. This program showcases medical radiation and the connections with physics to Real World health professions. These online resources are targeted to support in-service secondary teachers to understand and teach sciences in the context of real world professions. It also allows greater access for high school students to understand the relevance of physics to the real world than is currently able to be offered with on-campus field trips.
