Our research focuses on improving job quality and ensuring access to fair, meaningful, and sustainable work. We study how gender, disability, and other forms of social difference shape inclusive workplaces and learning environments and influence access to fair, meaningful work. We research diverse forms of work including hybrid and flexible work models, rural, remote and distance work, paid and unpaid labour, and precarious work such as digital platform work in the gig economy. We address issues such as pay inequality, discrimination, ableism, and gender bias to advance social and economic inclusion and equality.
