Re-imagining community leadership programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people

‘Re-imagining community leadership programs for Aboriginal and Tor-res Strait Islander Young People,’ advances the leadership aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young peoples through Indigenous-led intergenerational knowledge translation mechanisms.

This research highlights where greater intentionality of intergenerational leadership wisdom, knowledge and practice among Elders, senior leaders and young peoples is required. It identifies current and emerging matters requiring attention, as well as the care that needs to be considered when developing leadership programs for Tomorrow’s Inspiring Leaders.

This project is partnered with LeadershipFit, an Indigenous Australian owned ‘leadership lifestyle solutions business’ providing leadership services to individuals, teams, organisations, businesses, universities, and governments across Australia and funded by the Lowitja Institute.
