We had a number of BSRG researchers present posters at the Inaugural Herston Biofabrication Conference held at the RBWH on Friday 22nd of March 2019. Research Fellow, Caroline Grant: Quantifying changes in 3D surface topography after surgical correction of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. BSRG Research Assistant, Corey Miller: Characterisation of Cortical Bone Adaptation: Mouse Tibia Loading Model. Visiting Research Fellow, Jurgis Ruza: Bone Tissue Mineral Density Distribution: Characterization and Modeling. Clayton Adam Florence Wilson PhD Student, Laura Meszaros: Towards Developing an Integrated Framework to Predict Subject Specific Spine Mechanics. The Conference was a great success with many researchers and clinicians in attendance. The vision of the ‘Hospital of the Future’ which highlighted patient-specific care was very inspiring.
