BSRG Researchers Join Prestigious Spine Society of Australia

At the annual scientific meeting of the Spine Society of Australia (SSA 2019) April 5-7, BSRG staff Dr Paige Little and Maree Izatt were granted Full Membership to the Spine Society of Australia (SSA). Applicants must demonstrate a major and sustained research interest in the prevention, management and treatment of spine disorders and be nominated by three active members of the SSA.  After then gaining the approval of the SSA Membership Committee, nominees must be voted in by those in attendance at the Annual General Meeting.  The new memberships were announced and membership certificates presented at the Conference Dinner held on the 77th floor of Q1 at the Gold Coast. “It is a great honour and we are both so very proud to become members of the prestigious SSA whose roots can be traced back to the early 1970’s,” said Mrs Izatt.
