Dr Jasmin Hum and PhD Candidate, Francesca Ciraldo from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Institute of Biomaterials, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg visited BSRG researchers and QUT as part of an UA-DAAD research collaboration grant on “Assessment of vascularization potential of 3D Bioglass scaffolds for tissue engineering of large bone defects using a mechanobiological approach” from 16 – 20 October 2017. While in Brisbane Dr Hum presented a seminar at QUT’s Institute for Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI) before some time off to explore sunny Australia.
