Who we are and what we do
QUT CFE Paradox team draw from deep real world experience and combine this with insights from the paradox literature and associated business and management theories and frameworks to deliver a range of customised solutions for organisations experiencing paradoxical tensions. Our approach is to work closely with an organisation and its leaders to understand the full context for the paradoxes they are experiencing, and combine practical and academic expertise in development of the approach most likely to be effective to navigate them.

Associate Professor Sandeep Salunke
Associate Professor Sandeep Salunke conducts research in the area of innovation and competitive strategy and covers several contexts including service innovation, product/process innovation, business model innovation, etc. His work mainly uses the knowledge - based and dynamic capabilities view to explore how firms create an d sustain new value. His research findings, based on insights gathered from senior managers of several Australian (and international) firms, follow a rigorous methodology involving qualitative and quantitative techniques and are published in several high q uality journals. Sandeep’s research interest in paradoxes lies at the intersection of resource management and strategy - his latest work uses the paradox lens to explore how downstream customer - based resources can be usefully integrated within the value cr eating strategy of the firm
