PhD (University of Queensland), Masters by Coursework (University of Queensland)
My research investigates organisational performance alongside family and individual behaviours across diverse contexts and sectors. My previous and current work encompasses sustainability, agriculture, education, innovation (techno-economic, impact assessment, and commercialisation pathway), and health (with over AU$3 mil external funding). I am committed to advancing the understanding of behavioural variations in individuals and organisations and their subsequent impact on performance outcomes.
I leverage economic and behavioural theories, econometric modelling, and operational research techniques to generate new insights that inform improved decision-making. A key aspect of my professional commitment involves mentoring and developing early-career researchers to produce high-quality scholarly work. I am also dedicated to continuous learning and collaborative problem-solving to address pertinent industry and societal challenges.
Using 2024 data, I was named in Stanford's Top 2% Scientists (Sub-field Agricultural Economics and Policy; Economics) d the top 7% by Repec (last 10 years publications)
I am eager to engage with new perspectives and contribute to collectively addressing complex issues. Currently, I am interested in conducting further research on sustainability innovations, nature-based solutions, the impact of mega-events (such as the Olympics and Expo), housing affordability, and health systems.
As an Associate Editor, I invite you to submit your research to the following journals: International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management and the Journal of Education for Business.
As a Co-Lead in the Business, Engineering, and Social Systems Domain, I would like you to explore the amazing data-driven activities at the QUT Centre for Data Science. I would also like you to check out the GEDSI-transformative work by the QUT Centre for Justice, where I am an affiliated investigator.
