The Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities (LIEF) scheme provides funding to eligible organisations for research infrastructure, equipment and facilities.Under this scheme researchers participate in cooperative initiatives so that expensive research infrastructure, equipment and facilities can be shared between higher education organisations and industry.
First investigator Dr Mahboobeh Shahbazi said the multidisciplinary team, from three universities, would enhance Queensland’s existing capability and enable measurements of materials and devices developed in laboratories at higher magnetic fields and/or pressure at a broader temperature range.
