
I am a pragmatic and customer – centric, senior advisor to federal and state government bodies, financial institutions, healthcare providers and the education sector. My highly developed stakeholder management capability achieves senior executive and board level engagement and commitment across process transformation initiatives. I hold extensive senior management experience and provide thought leadership to drive effective organisational transformation across a broad range of industries. This is achieved by working with organisations to transform their business by developing strategies to make better use of people, information, systems & technology. With over 25 year’s specialist experience ranging from customer engagement to data driven, evidence based executive decision systems, I am an inspirational leader with a track record of delivering innovative business process solutions. This is accomplished through my highly developed communication skills and the establishment of long lasting professional relationships with clients, colleagues and other key stakeholders. My academic research investigates business process management and transformation, defining the innovation process (through rapid ideation and design), and the affordances of enterprise social technologies. I am the author of numerous refereed and peer reviewed conference and journal publications and several book chapters. My research students have won awards in the Information Systems domain. I am an accredited Higher Degree Research Student (HDR) Supervisor and have been recognised with a Vice Chancellors (QUT) Performance Award and a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) for my teaching excellence. I am driven by the exploration of emergent digital technologies and business models which are informative to future ways of working and societal changes.
