Celebrating entrepreneurial excellence: Cameron Newton and David Herold honoured with Global Leadership Award


Here at CFE, we are delighted to extend our congratulations to Professor Cameron Newton and Dr David Herold for their well-deserved recognition as part of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Team of the Year at the prestigious Triple E Awards held in Prague.

This international honour celebrates the exceptional achievements of seven QUT leaders who have championed entrepreneurial thinking across the university. Through their visionary leadership and collaborative efforts, they have cultivated a dynamic ecosystem that empowers students, staff, and the wider community to drive real-world change.

Professor Cameron Newton, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, brings deep expertise in organisational psychology, innovation, and clean energy market development. As a Chief Investigator and affiliate researcher with CFE,  Cameron’s strategic contributions continue to shape QUT’s entrepreneurial direction and sustainability agenda.

Dr David Herold, Entrepreneurship Study Area Coordinator and Chief Investigator at CFE, has played a pivotal role in embedding entrepreneurship into both curriculum and research. His commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets and forging strong industry partnerships reflects the Centre’s mission to lead globally relevant research that advances economic and social well-being.

Their recognition at the Triple E Awards is testament to the impact of research-led innovation and the strength of collaborative leadership. At CFE, we are proud to celebrate leaders like Cameron and David, whose work is shaping the future of enterprise and inspiring the next generation of changemakers.
