City 5.0 Paper in Electronic Markets


City 5.0 describes an innovative concept centred on the smart, frictionless consumption of city services.

A global research team orchestrated by the European Research Centre for Information Systems, and headed by Michael Rosemann and Jörg Becker, wrote an article that now has been published in Electronic Markets.

The paper proposes City 5.0 as a new citizen-centric design paradigm for future cities, in which cities can be seen as markets connecting service providers with citizens as consumers.
