Prof. Jan Recker ranks as one of the most published information systems academics of all time. After receiving his PhD from QUT in 2008 (and working there 2005-2017), in 2018, he was named the youngest ever AIS fellow. In 2019, he was named #1 business researcher under 40 by German Magazine Wirtschaftswoche. A senior editor for MIS, former editor-in-chief for AIS (Comm), he has worked with big brands, gov and startups inc. Woolworths, SAP, Commonwealth Bank, Lufthansa, Ubisoft. His research explores the intersection of technology, people and organisations: How do small and large organizations deal with digital innovation and transformation? How do products, processes, and organizations change through digitalization? How can digital solutions help build a sustainable future? He draws on quantitative, qualitative and mixed field methods. Is published in leading journals. And his textbooks on scientific scientific research and data analysis are used by 500+ institutions in 60+ countries.
