Work, Life and Technological Change

Our research helps organisations, educators, and policymakers understand and navigate the social and ethical implications of technology in the workplace and its impact on the labour market. Our expertise spans technologies such as AI, robotics, automation, and digital platforms. We explore the intersections and boundaries of work and life to consider how technologies influence when and how we work, how domestic and caring responsibilities shape work opportunities, and how personal circumstance, be it health, age, disability or social and economic disadvantage, impact access to and experiences of work.
