Post is on behalf of Kirsi Snellman – Thank you so much for the possibility to participate in ACE International Visiting Program 13.1.2020 – 28.2.2020 at Queensland University of Technology. I highly recommend the program to any entrepreneurship scholar who wants to pursue their research interests in a vibrant entrepreneurial atmosphere. As the purpose of the research exchange was to initiate collaboration around topical issues, the discussions with Professor Martin Obschonka resulted in a research project on an emerging, but yet under explored emotion in the context of new venture investments: Fear-of-missing-out (FOMO). There were also opportunities to participate in ACE networking events, such as the social gathering, which was organized to honor Professor Dean Shepherd. On my last day, I presented a research paper titled as ”Emotion as an ethical compass in sustainability decision making” in ACE Research Seminar. Given that a piece of my heart was left in Brissie, I look forward to travelling to Australia again next year and to meet everyone at the ACERE2021 Conference in Gold Coast.
