Want to know more about Entrepreneurial Intentions

Evan Douglas has joined ACE at QUT as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship. Now in semi-retirement, Evan previously headed the Graduate School of Business at QUT MBA program for about 12 years, and has also taught at three other Queensland Universities, as well as in the USA, Canada, England, China, Hong Kong, India, Thailand, and Vietnam as a Visiting Professor. His current research projects involve entrepreneurial motivation, new venture risk analysis, and growth aspirations. He has published in the Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Business Research, and the Journal of Small Business Management, among others. His new book ‘Entrepreneurial Intentions: Past, Present and Future Research’ was recently published by Edward Elgar (UK), and advocates for a general model of entrepreneurial intention that integrates profit-seeking, social impact-seeking, and job-satisfaction-seeking entrepreneurship within a common framework of analysis. It also advocates for the use of fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) to accommodate the complexity of entrepreneurial behaviour and to identify multiple pathways to entrepreneurship amongst the heterogeneous population of entrepreneurs.    More about the book HERE
