After almost four years at ACE, Dr Rene Bakker has decided to move on with his life and career and has taken up a position as Assistant Professor, Management and Entrepreneurship, at the University of Indiana, Bloomington, USA. Rene has been a very important contributor to ACE’s research environment and our success at research grant income and scholarly publishing. Conversely, we like to think that ACE has been a fruitful environment for Rene’s growth as a scholar. Looking forward to continued fruitful collaboration (and friendship) we wish Rene all the best in his new country and new position. The responsibility for Rene’s ARC-funded mining project with the Queensland Resources Council has been taken over by Dr Henri Burgers.
