ACE climbing the rankings

Independent reviews are starting to confirm the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship’s (ACE) national and international standing. A paper to be presented at the upcoming Academy of Management annual meeting ranks institutions based on their publications in 25 entrepreneurship journals. According to this compilation, QUT is the clear leader in Australia, being the only Australian university among the top 62 universities listed globally). With a rank of 17 globally, QUT is second (very narrowly) only to the National University of Singapore among universities located outside of Europe and North America. Topping the list is Erasmus University (Netherlands) followed by University of Indiana, which is the home institution of ACE’s Adjunct Professor Dean Shepherd and the site of recent research visits by ACE members Rene Bakker, Henri Burgers, and Julienne Senyard. ACE also has links to several of the other top ranked universities on the list.

The study is titled “The Author Affiliation Index (AAI) as an Assessment of 25 Entrepreneurship Journals, 2007-2011” and is lead authored by Jay Janney from the University of Dayton.”
