Professor Ruth Baker, an applied mathematician with the University of Oxford and collaborator with several CDS members, brings Bayesian inference to the problem of analysing data regarding the responses of cells to electrical signals. So-called electrotaxis has potential applications as a supplement to wound healing therapy.
