Find Maria Hameed Khan on
Maria is a researcher and management scholar. She is currently an Industry Research Fellow with the Centre for Decent Work and Industry, QUT Business School, Queensland University of Technology.
Maria’s research focuses on examining decent work-related and social implications of technology and digitalisation, leadership and workplace culture on individuals, organisations and society. She has published research in leading management, employment, and labour studies journals such as Work, Employment and Society, Group and Organization Management, Leadership and has authored a book chapter in the De Gruyter Handbook of Disability and Management (2023). In addition to her research, Maria is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and teaches a range of management and HR units at a postgraduate and undergraduate level.
Maria is member of Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and has over a decade of experience working in management and strategic human research management across finance, legal, retail, healthcare and education sectors. She is currently a member of the Executive team at Employer Branding Australia as Head of Research and Insights.
