Regulating Child Work in Australia

The Queensland Government has committed to undertake a desktop review of the state of child work in Australia and the laws regulating it, considering the recent ratification of the Minimum Age Convention. The output – a report – will inform a broader scope of work and a potential multi-party national survey that seeks to map child work participation to demographic, spatial, contractual, and economic dimensions.
