Long’s research interests primarily focus on applications of machine learning and AI for autonomous vehicles (AVs). More specifically, he aims to develop advanced algorithms and models to enhance their perception, decision-making and control capabilities. He has practical experience in utilising MATLAB and Python, two popular programming languages widely used in the fields of machine learning and AI. He is proficient in designing and implementing algorithms using these languages, leveraging their extensive libraries and tools to analyse data, develop models and perform simulations.
