
I did my B.tech in Production Engineering at National Institute of Technology – Calicut (India). During these days I was working on a Dual arm robot for human assistance in carrying out day to day activities. Subsequently I worked for a year at Indian Institute of Science – Bangalore (India) on the project Six axis robot for prenatal scanning. Following this I completed my masters in Robotics with a minor in AI from Oregon state University (USA). My master’s work was on vision guided robotic manipulation for scanning tree branches to detect dormant tree pruning points. My research interest lies in path planning and manipulation of robotic arms in a cluttered uncertain environment such as an agricultural environment.
