Welcome Dr Ruhamah Yunis

We welcome Dr Ruhamah Yunis to the Centre as a new Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Ruhamah is a synthetic chemist with over nine years of research experience research experience specializing in synthesis of organic and inorganic compounds, ionic liquid, plastic crystals, metal complexes and polymer-based ionic liquids.

She was most recently at Deakin University where she was responsible for the design and synthesis of novel organic ionic plastic crystals, solid-state and liquid electrolytes for rechargeable battery applications. Ruhamah received her PhD in synthetic chemistry with an exceptional doctoral thesis from the University of Canterbury in 2015.

She has recently started working with Dr Anja Goldmann, Prof. Christopher Barner-Kowollik and Prof. Dmitri Golberg on their project ‘A new frontier in observing and controlling macromolecular morphologies at the picometer level’.
