Innovative health communication in developing contexts
This study investigates how emerging digital affordances can be integrated effectively in development research and practice to address health issues in the Pacific. The proposed research study specifically investigates community ownership and participation in addressing non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in the Pacific and focusses on the use of digital storytelling using new digital devices to strengthen the development of local solutions in health and design through creative reflection among local groups and development stakeholders.
