The International Journal for Crime, Justice and Social Democracy (IJCJSD) is one of Australia’s top-ranked law journals.

IJCJSD is an open access, blind peer-reviewed journal that seeks to publish critical research about common challenges confronting criminal justice systems around the world. Authors retain copyright and articles are licenced via Creative Commons to make published articles readily available and useable. There are no APCs (Article Processing Charges) and authors can submit and publish at no cost.

The Journal is currently indexed in Scopus as a Q1 (Quartile 1) for journal quality in the subject categories of ‘LAW’ and Q2 in ‘Sociology and Political Science’.

Internationally, the Journal is ranked in the top 20 open access Law journals, and is 1st in the Pacific Region.
