C4IE is pleased to announce that one PhD or MPhil scholarship is available for suitable applicants. The scheme is open to new domestic or international applicants, but applicants must be able to commence by 31 August 2023. C4IE scholarships will be offered towards research projects directly related to inclusive education.
Possible topics:
- Leadership: School leaders’ knowledge of social emotional learning and/or alternatives to exclusionary discipline.
- Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) understandings in Australia; social-emotional learning programming, and gaps in policy and practice.
- Social emotional learning and mental health promotion in schools.
- Other topics directly related to inclusive education will also be considered.
Essential criteria
Relevant tertiary qualification in education, psychology, allied health, design/architecture or a related discipline. Applicants must be able to commence by 31 August 2023.
Desirable criteria
Knowledge of inclusive education.
Before completing an application
- We recommend applicants complete a draft in MS Word before submitting an application. You can use this C4IE Research proposal template 2023.
- You will also be required to submit a copy of your CV and your Academic Record with your scholarship application, so make sure you have them ready.
- Check you meet the entry requirements. You can complete a Research Degree Eligibility Check.
- Your principal supervisor must be a member of the Centre for Inclusive Education (C4IE). Contact C4IE Members to ask if they are willing to supervise your project before submitting an application.
