I am a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the School of Education at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), working within the Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice on the Autism CRC-funded project developing national guidance for inclusive education for autistic students.

I am autistic and have ADHD, and bring both lived experience and over a decade of professional expertise in education, evaluation and applied research. I specialise in mixed methods and qualitative approaches. My qualifications include a PhD in Higher Education Research, Evaluation and Enhancement from Lancaster University, and a Master of Teaching (by Research), Postgraduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Science, all from the University of Melbourne.

Alongside my role at QUT, I am a Lecturer in Social Research and Program Evaluation at Edith Cowan University (ECU), and Co-Journal Manager of the Journal of Teaching and Learning for Graduate Employability. I currently serve as Director of the Western Australian Chapter of Work-Integrated Learning Australia and am Co-Chair of their Research and Impact Committee. In 2023, I helped establish ECU’s Staff with Disability Network and was proud to serve as its inaugural Co-Chair.

My current research interests include inclusive education, higher education, pedagogical practice, career development learning, evaluation and work-integrated learning. I recently co-edited a special issue in Career Development International titled Fostering an inclusive and sustainable career ecosystem: Empowering neurodivergent individuals and employees to thrive. My approach is ethical, collaborative and strategic, driven by a commitment to making a meaningful and positive difference through social research, advocacy and transformative action.
