A study led by the Centre for Inclusive Education, conducted by researchers Haley Tancredi, Professor Linda Graham, Dr Callula Killingly, and colleague, Professor Naomi Sweller, and funded by the Australian Research Council, found that high school students with disability, such as Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and ADHD, significantly improved their comprehension and engagement when teachers used accessible teaching strategies. The study highlights the impact of the Accessible Pedagogies program, developed by C4IE, which enhances learning for all students, particularly those with language and information processing challenges.
