
Branavan Arulmoly is a Civil Engineering Graduate with a Bachelor of the Science of Engineering Honours Degree from the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. He completed a Master of Philosophy in Engineering Degree at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka focusing on Development of Sustainable Concrete and Masonry Mortar using Manufactured Sand and Offshore Sand. Prior to starting his PhD career at QUT, Branavan worked as a Lecturer and Student Demonstrator for nearly five years and also worked in the industry for nearly one year. Branavan joined the Wind and Fire Lab in February 2024 as a Doctoral Student as his research focuses on Investigating Fire Resistant Performance of Lightweight Foam Concrete for LSF walls.
