Gihan Ranasinghe successfully completed his PhD Final Seminar on 6 June 2025. His doctoral research focused on the “Behaviour and Design of LSF Truss Floor-Ceiling Systems under Ambient and Fire Conditions”
Gihan pursued his PhD as a full-time research student at the Wind and Fire Lab, QUT. He obtained his BSc (Eng.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and he completed his Master’s degree from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
