Prof Mahen Mahendran and Dr Antony Ariyanayagam have received ARC funding for a project “Superior Cold-formed steel floor truss systems to modernize construction” in collaboration with industry partner Scottsdale Construction Systems.
This project is aimed at developing new, improved high-strength, cold-formed steel (CFS) floor truss systems for mid-rise CFS buildings worldwide, through detailed investigations of the true behaviour and capacity of various CFS truss systems using extensive experimental and numerical studies.
We are actively looking for interested PhD students and Research associates.
