• Give ECRs the chance to get leadership experience.
• Support ECRs by funding high-quality research projects of modest financial cost
• Support ECRs to progress their research or explore new research that they would not otherwise be able to pursue.
• Support ECRs to get preliminary data to leverage grant funding.
