Congratulations to Dr Sahani Hendawitharana and Dr Sepideh Madani for being awarded $21,950 under QUT Early Career Researcher Ideas Scheme 2023 to investigate the “Bushfire Resistance of Rooftop Solar Panels”.
The Early Career Researcher Ideas Scheme supports high-quality applications from early career researchers (ECR) or teams of ECRs to undertake innovative research projects.
The scheme aims to:
– Encourage staff who meet the ECR definition to enhance their research expertise and track record by identifying and undertaking an innovative research project in their discipline area.
– Provide modest seed funding to assist ECRs in undertaking a project to attract external research grant funding.
– Facilitate research mentoring and research plan development by linking ECRs with experienced Sponsors.
