My research focuses on smart functional materials for thermoelectrics and nanoelectronics from synthesizing materials to understanding their underlying physics and chemistry, with an emphasis on high efficiency, low-toxicity, and low-cost solutions. Through advanced microscopy techniques – such as Cs-corrected S/TEM, I have worked towards unravelling the relationship between nanostructures and materials properties to achieve comprehensive materials optimization.
