I am interested in fire resistant construction materials. It is important because building fires and bushfires represent a risk for our society.
My work aims to understand the physical, chemical and thermal properties of building materials at ambient (room) temperature and elevated temperature to develop fire-resistant composite materials that will benefit communities worldwide.
