Zoomed-In Science. Book session with scientists for your primary school in 2023

QUT scientists are taking their research labs into Queensland classrooms as part of the university’s “Zoomed-In-Science” virtual outreach program for regional, remote and metropolitan primary schools. “Zoomed-In-Science” will reach 1000 students this year.

The free program is an initiative of QUT’s Centre for Materials Science and involves a team of enthusiastic PhD students, lecturers and postgraduate researchers.

They stream live to classrooms while they film each other doing experiments, presenting curriculum-relevant science, and answering questions from the young audience.

Bookings are now open for primary schools interested in having scientists zoom into their classrooms in 2023.
