Climbing out of COVID with Children and Families

Agenda:

The QUT Centre for Child and Famly Studies and The University of Portsmouth (UoP), School of Education and Sociology (EDSOC) will bring together a multi-disciplinary panel of researchers, advocates, policy makers, and service providers online to respond to the panel topic “Climbing out of COVID with children and families in the UK and Australia: Where are we now and where are we going.”

The panel will speak to the following points briefly, followed by question and answer / discussion time:

a) the big issues for children and families given our current situation within the pandemic

b) the priority actions / approaches we need to address these issues

c) the kinds of workforce capabilities we need to uplift given this.
