Margaret Trembath Research Scholarship – Our Stories: Children and Celebrations

The Early Childhood Australia South Australian Branch offers the Margaret Trembath Research Scholarship every 2 years to support early childhood education and care in Australia.

We are pleased to invite you to attend a presentation of “Our Stories: Children and Celebrations” by Maryanne Theobald (QUT), Gillian Busch (CQU) and Cathy Nielson (QUT) on Monday evening the 7th of November – 5.30pm – 7.30pm (QLD Time).

The research investigated how celebrations are talked about, defined and enacted by children and their educators in 2 early childhood settings, characterized by cultural diversity in Queensland.

The SA Premier will open the presentation and present on the royal commission into Early Childhood and Care.

Please register to attend here, or if you are unable to attend this important event, you can view a copy of the report here or watch the collection of digital stories that were created as part of this project.

Nice topic. I would like to know if there is a research paper that was published about this project. It would be useful to read.

    Thank you
