Monica Taylor

Monica Taylor

Monica is an early career researcher and sociolegal scholar based at the QUT School of Law. Monica’s research interest lies in climate and disaster justice, adaptation and resilience, with a focus on people and communities most impacted by climate harm. Her recently completed her PhD by publication examined the readiness of Australia’s public legal service system (the Legal Assistance Sector) to respond to climate change-informed legal problems. It asked, how is climate change shaping the legal needs of priority population groups and how equipped is the LAS to deal with that changing landscape?
