This project aims to support Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to perform its new responsibility of managing and improving Vietnam’s greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory for agriculture, forestry and land use, using collaboration on rice emissions to strengthen capacities. Vietnam holds obligations under the Paris Agreement to fulfill these obligations and this project is assisting in building technical and governance capacity to move towards climate resilient rice production in the Mekong Region and broader food security outcomes.
