This project involved working with the Queensland Department of Resources’ Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ). GSQ has amassed a large collection of industry reports as a result of exploration and production companies’ legal obligations in the state. The aim of this project is to create automated tools and techniques utilizing language models based on deep learning, to extract essential information from these reports. The extracted information will aid in future resource exploration endeavours.
