Women in Information Technology: The champagne and coding workshop

Coding is lots of fun and can be immensely useful in career, business or self-expression. It helps women to be creative and productive. In this interactive workshop, details on how to create a website, a blog or a fun game using some simple coding were covered.

This workshop was offered by Dr Richi Nayak and her research team. Richi Nayak is Associate Professor and Higher Degree Research Director in the Science and Engineering Faculty, QUT. She is an internationally recognised expert in data mining, text mining and web intelligence.  She is 2016 Women in IT award winner for the Infotech Outstanding Achievement in Queensland.
