The staff and students of the QUT Astrophysics Research Group regularly participate in outreach events, such as tours of facilities, astronomy observing nights, school talks, and regular appearances on radio and other media outlets. Most recently, MPhil Candidate, Georgia Hartzenberg was invited as a guest speaker by the Rotary Club of Brisbane Mid-City and gave a talk at the Brisbane Club on the 12th February 2021. Georgia discussed the morphologies of galaxies and their origins, data science and applications associated with Astrophysics, and our connection with the universe.
