The QUT Astrophysics Research Group is made up of dedicated scientists with a keen interest in understanding how the universe came to be and the nature of the physical processes that underpin it. Our scientists are currently undertaking research in galaxy formation and evolution, star-formation and accreting supermassive black holes, the interaction of galaxies with their environment, multi-wavelength photometry, infrared spectroscopy, and spectral energy distribution modelling. We offer a range of research projects at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as a summer research scholarship program.
