Dr Michael Cowley recently presented a talk to Star Gayzers, Brisbane’s LGBTQIA+ astronomy community, titled From Dreamtime to Cosmic Time: The Next Chapter in Our Story of the Universe.
The presentation explored the connection between Indigenous knowledge and modern astrophysics, tracing how humanity’s understanding of the cosmos has evolved from cultural storytelling to contemporary research.
It was a relaxed and inspiring night celebrating our shared curiosity about the Universe.
